**New Delhi, October 28, 2024:** With the deadline for IPL player retention approaching on October 31st, teams are gearing up for the upcoming season. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who have yet to win the IPL title, are reportedly looking to build a strong team with the retention of six key players.
Leading the list is the Indian cricketing legend, Virat Kohli. Kohli has been a cornerstone of the RCB franchise since its inception and his consistent performance, including 741 runs in the last season, makes him the top priority for the team.
Joining Kohli is current RCB captain, Faf du Plessis. Du Plessis, who recently led the St Lucia Kings to the Caribbean Premier League Championship, is expected to continue leading the team in the IPL.
