**Inzai City, Japan (October 26, 2023):** Colombian golfer Nico Echavarria is on the verge of his second PGA Tour victory after a stellar third round at the Zozo Championship. Echavarria, who won his first Tour title in Puerto Rico last year, fired a 5-under 65, culminating in a tap-in eagle, to move to 17-under 193 at the par-70 Narashino Country Club.

This puts him two shots ahead of Justin Thomas, who is looking to regain his winning form after a two-and-a-half-year drought since his 2022 PGA Championship victory.

Max Greyserman, seeking his first PGA Tour win, is in hot pursuit, sitting three shots back after shooting a 64. Kevin Yu, Rickie Fowler, and Nate Lashley are all within six shots of the lead, keeping the competition tight.

While Echavarria and Thomas dominate the leaderboard, the defending champion Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele have struggled. Both are a distant 13 shots behind the leader.
