**Madurai, October 28, 2024:** The Madurai Division of the Indian Railways commenced its annual Vigilance Awareness Week on Monday, with officials and employees taking an integrity pledge. The week-long observance, themed “Culture of integrity for nation’s prosperity”, aims to promote ethical conduct and combat corruption within the railway system.
The pledge was administered by Divisional Railway Manager Sharad Srivastava at the Divisional Office in Madurai. Additional Divisional Railway Manager L.N. Rao, Chief Project Manager of Gati Shakti K. Hari Kumar, and Divisional Personnel Officer T. Sankaran were also present for the ceremony. Similar pledge-taking events were held at various railway stations and field units across the division.
The Vigilance Awareness Week will continue until November 3, focusing on promoting transparency, accountability, and ethical practices within the Madurai Railway Division.
