**New Delhi:** The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the commencement of online registration for the first session of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025. Aspiring candidates can apply for the examination through the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
According to NTA, the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 will be held in January, while Session 2 will be held in April. The detailed schedule for the first session has been released, and the registration process is now open.
Candidates can submit their application form for JEE Main Session 1 until 9:00 PM on November 22nd. The last date for fee payment for applications submitted on November 22nd is 11:50 PM.
The JEE Main 2024 examination will be held from January 22nd to January 31st, with the exam city details for the first session being announced in the first week of January. Admit cards will be released three days before the respective examination dates.
NTA has introduced a modified pattern for JEE Main 2025, eliminating optional questions. The engineering paper will be divided into two sections: Section A, consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and Section B, consisting of five numerical value-type questions from each subject.
Candidates who apply for JEE Mains Session 1 and wish to appear for the second session will be allowed to apply separately for Session 2 using their Session 1 login credentials once the application window reopens before the April exam. Those wishing to apply only for Session 2 will also be permitted to do so when the window reopens.
NTA has clarified that only one application form per candidate is allowed. The agency has warned that strict action will be taken against candidates who submit multiple applications.
