**New Delhi, October 28, 2024:** The Vigilance Awareness Week 2024, themed “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity,” commenced today with an integrity pledge administered to Commission officials by Shri Praveen Kumar Srivastava, Central Vigilance Commissioner, and Shri A.S. Rajeev, Vigilance Commissioner, at Satarkata Bhawan.
The week-long observance, from October 28 to November 3, marks the culmination of a three-month campaign leading up to the event. This year’s campaign, running from August 16 to November 15, emphasizes building a culture of integrity through five key focus areas: Capacity Building Programs, Systemic Improvement measures, Up-dation of Circulars/Guidelines/Manuals, Complaint Disposal, and Dynamic Digital Presence.
A grand function will be held at Vigyan Bhawan on November 8th to celebrate the Vigilance Awareness Week, with the Hon’ble President of India gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The Central Vigilance Commission believes that these preventive vigilance measures will foster transparent and accountable systems, ultimately contributing to the nation’s prosperity.
