**New Delhi, India** – Bharti Airtel, India’s leading telecommunications company, has announced a carefully planned succession process, with Shashwat Sharma, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer, becoming the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective January 1, 2026.
