**Hyderabad, October 26 (Namasthe Telangana):** Protests continue against the proposed transfer of land belonging to Ambedkar Open University to JNAFA. Several university employees participated in a demonstration on Saturday, expressing their disapproval of the government’s decision.
Speaking at the protest, Professor Vaddanam Srinivas, the convener of the university employees’ Joint Action Committee (JAC), condemned the government’s stance towards the university, highlighting its crucial role in educating countless individuals in the state.
Professor Pallavi Kabde, the JAC chairperson, Mahesh Goud, the general secretary, and other JAC leaders like Dr. Yakesh Daid and Kantam Prem Kumar also participated in the protest.
The employees are concerned that the transfer of land could negatively impact the university’s functioning and its ability to serve the community. They are urging the government to reconsider its decision and ensure the continued operation of the university.
