**Raipur, Chhattisgarh:** After months of anticipation and pressure from aspirants, the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has finally declared the results for the 2018 Sub Inspector (SI) recruitment exam. The results, released on [Date], were delayed for a long time, causing anxiety among candidates.

The long wait for the results prompted the Chhattisgarh High Court to intervene. Justice N.K. Vyass, in a single-bench order, directed the commission to announce the results within 15 days. This intervention finally led to the declaration of the results.

The recruitment process for 975 SI positions, including Sub Inspector, Sub Inspector (Special Branch), Sub Inspector (Finger Print), Subedar, Platoon Commander, Sub Inspector (Questioned Document), Sub Inspector (Computer), and Sub Inspector (Radio), was stuck for months after the written exam was conducted.

Candidates had organized numerous protests and demonstrations, including a hunger strike, seeking immediate release of the results. They also met with Home Minister Vijay Sharma, who promised to release the results within two weeks.

The results announced today have filled 577 out of 577 Sub Inspector positions, 69 out of 69 Sub Inspector (Special Branch) positions, 2 out of 6 Sub Inspector (Finger Print) positions, 57 out of 58 Subedar positions, 247 out of 247 Platoon Commander positions, 1 out of 3 Sub Inspector (Questioned Document) positions, 5 out of 6 Sub Inspector (Computer) positions, and 1 out of 9 Sub Inspector (Radio) positions.
