**Mumbai:** Actress Kajol recently appeared on “The Kapil Sharma Show” to promote her latest film, “Do Patti,” released on Netflix on October 25th. During the show, Kajol revealed that she has been the subject of numerous death hoaxes, leaving her baffled.
“I’ve been through so many of them, it’s shocking. It seems to happen every five years. Once, someone called my mother saying I was in a plane crash. The whole family was in a panic! Just recently, I saw a YouTube video saying I was dead. It’s a bit strange,” she shared.
Despite the strange rumors, Kajol revealed she doesn’t actively search for news about herself. “I don’t Google myself or what people are saying about me. But when my friends send me any sensational articles, I wonder how they come up with such things,” she added.
“Do Patti,” a mystery thriller, marks Kajol’s first film as a police officer. She plays a dual role in the film, investigating the secrets of a pair of twins. The film, directed by Shashank Chaturvedi, also stars Kriti Sanon, who plays the twin sisters, as well as Shaheer Sheikh, Tanvi Azmi, and Brijendra Kala.
“Do Patti” is the first production from Kriti Sanon’s “Blue Butterfly Films” production house. It has been receiving positive buzz since its release on Netflix.
