Sat Oct 26 00:58:28 UTC 2024: During the week of 14 to 20 October 2024, Russia exported approximately EUR 4.47 billion in fossil fuels, with the following breakdown: EUR 1.92 billion in oil, EUR 1.38 billion in oil products and chemicals, EUR 0.73 billion in gas, and EUR 0.44 billion in coal. Notably, EUR 1.61 billion of these exports were loaded onto European or G7-owned or insured tankers, contributing to the financing of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The top five importers of these fossil fuels were China, India, Turkey, the EU, and Brazil.
