– The hearing addresses claims of malpractices during the May 5, 2024 test and includes requests for a re-examination.
– In a previous hearing on July 8, the court acknowledged that the integrity of NEET-UG 2024 was compromised and directed the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the Union government to submit detailed affidavits.
– The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) was also asked to provide a status update by July 10 regarding the NEET UG exam.
– On July 10, the Union government reported that IIT Madras was conducting data analysis of NEET-UG 2024 results, following the court’s orders, and found no evidence of widespread cheating.
– The NTA submitted an affidavit analyzing the distribution of marks for NEET-UG 2024.
– The NEET-UG 2024 exam was held on May 5, with approximately 23.33 lakh students participating across 4,750 centers in India and 14 overseas locations.
