Fri Oct 25 02:37:58 UTC 2024: On October 24, 2024, thousands of supporters traveled to Wayanad to see Priyanka Gandhi and participate in a roadshow, surpassing the expectations of United Democratic Front (UDF) leadership regarding women’s participation. UDF workers from constituencies like Nilambur and Vandur joined the event, with buses arriving from 6 AM to transport attendees. The buses were strategically parked near viewpoint areas for collective travel. As they entered Wayanad, slogans echoed from the buses. Following the roadshow, public meeting, and submission of nomination papers, buses departed after 5 PM. Each panchayat contributed three to four buses, with additional attendees traveling in personal vehicles. Special buses were arranged for women leaders from the Women’s Congress and other organizations. UDF members expressed joy at the opportunity to see Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi together.
