Mon Oct 21 13:18:25 UTC 2024: Veteran actor Anupam Kher has candidly expressed his feelings about not having a biological child, admitting that he sometimes feels the void of missing out on the experience of parenthood. In an interview, he emphasized that while he shares a strong bond with his stepson, Sikander Kher, he yearns for the joy of witnessing a child grow up. Anupam acknowledged that he didn’t feel this longing much earlier in life but has increasingly felt it over the last seven to eight years, especially as both his wife, Kirron, and Sikander became busier.

Despite these feelings, Anupam clarified that he does not view this absence as a tragedy but rather a natural longing that has grown as he ages. He and Kirron, who married in 1985, had previously attempted to conceive without success. Anupam was previously married to actress Madhumati Kapoor, and Kirron was married to Gautam Berry. Currently, Anupam is focused on his acting career, recently appearing in “The Signature,” while Kirron is engaged in political work.
