Thu Oct 17 16:30:00 UTC 2024: ## NTA Announces UGC NET 2024 Results: Over 112,000 Candidates Qualify

**Srinagar, October 17**: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) 2024. The exam, conducted from August 21 to September 5, 2024, saw participation from over 684,000 candidates out of 1,121,225 registered.

The results have been declared on the NTA website, along with subject-wise cut-off marks. A total of 4,970 candidates qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), 53,694 for Assistant Professor, and 112,070 for only PhD.

The UGC NET June 2024 was held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across 280 cities in India over 11 days in 21 shifts, covering 83 subjects.
