Fri Oct 18 11:30:30 UTC 2024: ## Pakistan Spinners Lead to Dominant Win Over England in 2nd Test

**Multan, Pakistan:** Pakistan secured a resounding 152-run victory over England in the second Test at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Thursday, taking a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The hosts’ spin attack, led by Sajid Khan and Noman Ali, proved crucial in dismantling the English batting lineup.

After England was bowled out for 291 in their first innings, Pakistan responded with a score of 221, setting a target of 297 for the visitors. England’s chase was quickly derailed by the Pakistani spinners, who claimed the wickets of opener Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley early in the innings.

Despite a late fightback by Ollie Pope (21*) and Joe Root (12*), England ultimately fell short, ending the match with a score of 36/2 in 11 overs.

Sajid Khan and Noman Ali were the architects of Pakistan’s victory, with each picking up a wicket apiece. Their bowling performance was particularly impressive, as they troubled the English batters with their sharp spin and control.

Pakistan captain Shan Masood praised the duo, calling them “seasoned campaigners” and highlighting their importance in the win.

The series now heads to Karachi for the third and final Test, with Pakistan looking to secure a clean sweep against their opponents.
