Fri Oct 18 04:25:00 UTC 2024: ## NTA Declares UGC NET June 2024 Results: Over 4970 Qualified for JRF

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results for the UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) June 2024 examination. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access their results and download their scorecards from the official NTA website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

A total of 1,121,225 candidates registered for the UGC NET 2024 exam, out of which 6,84,224 appeared. Of these, 4,970 candidates have qualified for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), 53,694 candidates qualified for Assistant Professor only, and 1,12,070 candidates qualified for PhD only.

The UGC NET June 2024 re-examination was conducted from August 21 to September 5, 2024. The final answer key for the exam was released on October 12, 2024.

The NTA also released a subject-wise and category-wise cut-off list in PDF format along with the results. The UGC NET 2024 cut-off varies based on the subject and category (General, OBC, SC, ST, etc.).

**To check your UGC NET 2024 result, follow these steps:**

1. Visit the official NTA website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in
2. Click on the “UGC NET June 2024 Result” link.
3. Enter your application number and date of birth.
4. Your result will be displayed on the screen.
5. Download and save your scorecard for future reference.

Candidates can also check their results through the UMANG mobile application.

* There is no negative marking in the UGC NET exam.
* The NTA will also release the UGC NET 2024 cut-off for Assistant Professor and JRF.
