**Ottawa, Canada** – Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, leader of the banned Khalistani organization Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), has claimed to have been communicating with the Canadian Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) for the past two to three years. This revelation came during an interview with Canadian broadcaster CBC News, where Pannun alleged that SFJ had informed the PMO about a supposed Indian spy network operating in Canada.

Pannun accused Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Verma and other diplomats of facilitating the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Khalistani terrorist killed in Canada. He further alleged that these diplomats provided logistics and intelligence support to Indian agents involved in the murder.

This revelation comes amidst escalating tensions between Canada and India following the murder of Nijjar. Canada named Verma and other diplomats as ‘persons of interest’ in the investigation, leading to India recalling its High Commissioner and expelling six Canadian diplomats.

While the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has also alleged links between Indian government agents and violent acts in Canada targeting pro-Khalistani elements, they have yet to provide concrete evidence. Similarly, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has not substantiated these claims.

In the interview, Pannun also criticized the Indo-Canadian community, alleging their loyalty to Canada is questionable due to their family ties to India. He questioned their support for Prime Minister Trudeau, specifically after his public stance against India in the wake of Nijjar’s murder.

Pannun has a history of making inflammatory statements, including threats against Indo-Canadian Hindus. Last year, he called on them to leave Canada and return to India, accusing them of repudiating their allegiance to the Canadian Constitution.

This development raises further concerns about the potential for espionage and interference in Canadian affairs, highlighting the need for a thorough investigation into these allegations. The Canadian government is facing pressure to provide clear evidence and address these accusations to ensure the safety and security of its citizens.
