Wed Oct 16 22:20:00 UTC 2024: ## Deadly Head-On Collision Shuts Down I-95 in New Hampshire

**NORTHAMPTON, NH** – A deadly head-on collision Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 95 South in North Hampton claimed the lives of two drivers, including a Massachusetts man.

Police report that at approximately 1:15 p.m., a northbound Toyota Camry, driven by 24-year-old Steve Le of Methuen, Massachusetts, crossed the median into the southbound lanes and collided with a southbound U-Haul box truck. The driver of the U-Haul, 58-year-old Leslie Lynn of Roanoke, Virginia, was also killed in the crash.

The U-Haul, after being struck, also crossed the median into the northbound lanes before coming to a stop at the wood line. A passenger in the U-Haul was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.

The cause of the Camry’s loss of control is currently under investigation. New Hampshire State Police are asking any witnesses to the crash to contact them.

All southbound lanes of I-95 were closed for several hours while authorities investigated the scene. The roadway fully reopened by 5:30 p.m.
