**ROGERS, AR** – A fire broke out at a recycling center located just off Arkansas St. southeast of the Rogers Municipal Airport on Wednesday afternoon, sending a plume of smoke visible across the city. The Rogers Fire Department responded to the call shortly after 3 p.m., according to the Pulse Point app.
The fire, which appears to involve a structure at the recycling center, prompted the Rogers Police Department to shut down some roads in the vicinity and advise residents to avoid the area.
