**Hyderabad, October 16:** In a major administrative shakeup, Dr. Ilambarithi K has been appointed as the new Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner, replacing Amrapali Kata who has been transferred back to Andhra Pradesh. The order was issued by Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari on Wednesday.
Dr. Ilambarithi, previously serving as the Commissioner of Transport, brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Several other IAS officers have also been transferred, including:
* **N. Sridhar:** Appointed as Principal Secretary in the Youth Advancement, Tourism, and Culture department, in addition to his current role as Director of Archaeology.
* **Sandeep Kumar Sultania:** Will now serve as Secretary in the Energy Department and also take on the responsibilities of Chairman and Managing Director of Genco and Transco.
* **Dr. Christina Z Chongthu:** Designated as Director of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy).
* **Dr. T.K. Sreedevi:** Appointed as Secretary of Women Development and Child Welfare.
* **R.V. Karnan:** Will now serve as Chief Executive Officer of the Aarogyasri Health Care Trust in addition to his current role as Director of Health and Family Welfare.
These transfers are expected to bring about changes in various departments and contribute to the efficient administration of the state.
