Wed Oct 16 07:40:00 UTC 2024: ## MLA Akhila Priya confronts Vijay Diary Chairman over NTR Plaque Removal and Jagan’s Photo
Nandyala MLA, Bhuma Akhila Priya, conducted a surprise inspection of the Vijay Diary on Tuesday, expressing strong displeasure over the removal of an NTR plaque and the display of former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy’s portrait in the Chairman’s chamber.
During the inspection, Akhila Priya questioned the lack of CM Chandrababu Naidu’s photograph in the chamber and demanded the removal of Jagan’s portrait, immediately placing a photograph of CM Naidu in its place. She sternly warned the staff against such incidents in the future. Akhila Priya also condemned the removal of the late NTR’s plaque and threatened to take action against those responsible.
This led to a heated argument between Akhila Priya and the Vijay Diary Chairman, SV Jagan Mohan Reddy, who objected to her impromptu visit. Their conversation escalated, with Jagan Mohan Reddy questioning Akhila Priya’s right to sit in the Chairman’s seat. Akhila Priya defended her actions, stating that she sat there at the staff’s request.
The argument further intensified as Akhila Priya challenged Jagan Mohan Reddy’s authority, questioning whether he was calling her as her “uncle” or as the Chairman of Vijay Diary. She stated that she would file a complaint if he was calling her as the Chairman. Akhila Priya also filed a complaint with the SP regarding the removal of the NTR plaque.
She accused the YCP leaders of living in a delusional world and claimed that rampant corruption and illegal activities are taking place within the Vijay Diary, which she promised to expose.
