Tue Oct 15 04:41:15 UTC 2024: ## Kiwis Aim to Break India’s Dominance in Upcoming Test Series
The Indian Cricket Team will face off against New Zealand in a three-match test series starting October 16th. The first match will be held in Bengaluru, followed by matches in Pune and Mumbai.
New Zealand captain Tom Latham has issued a warning to Team India, acknowledging the challenging nature of playing in India. “Playing in India is a challenge for our team,” he said, “but we hope to have more freedom when we get there. We can play more fearlessly and hopefully achieve victory.”
Latham expressed confidence in his team’s ability to disrupt India’s rhythm through aggressive play. “We’ve played against India in India before, and we’ve had success by being aggressive,” he stated, adding, “We need to play aggressively to put them under pressure. We will be ready to put our plans into action once we arrive in India.”
Interestingly, New Zealand has yet to win a test series in India. Their first tour of India was in 1955-56. Since then, India has consistently proven dominant on their home turf.
The last series between the two teams took place in 2021 in New Zealand, where India secured a 1-0 victory.
The upcoming series promises to be a thrilling spectacle, with both teams looking to prove their mettle on the field.
