**Hyderabad, October 15, 2024:** The Telangana High Court has dismissed two petitions challenging the results of the Group-1 preliminary exam, paving the way for the much-anticipated main exams to proceed as scheduled.
The petitions, filed by candidates who alleged irregularities in the exam, including incorrect questions and key discrepancies, were heard by the court on Tuesday morning.
The Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) argued that intervening in the matter at this stage would disrupt the upcoming main exams and cause inconvenience to thousands of students. The court agreed with the TSPSC’s arguments and dismissed the petitions.
The main exams for Group-1 posts are now scheduled to take place from October 21st to 27th, 2024. Hall tickets for the exams are available for download from the TSPSC website.
The court’s decision has brought a sense of relief to many aspiring government officials who are now free to focus on preparing for the main exams. The TSPSC has also announced that candidates should reach the exam hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time, which is 2:00 PM.
