**Gaya, Bihar:** Gaya residents can now rejoice as a new train service connecting the city to Mumbai has been introduced, providing an additional travel option for those seeking to reach the financial capital.
Previously, the only train connecting Gaya to Mumbai was the Howrah-Mumbai Express. The newly launched train, **Gaya-Lokmanya Tilak Express (Train No. 22358)**, will depart Gaya every Wednesday at 7:10 PM and reach Lokmanya Tilak station in Mumbai by 5:50 AM on Friday.
The return journey, **Lokmanya Tilak-Gaya Express (Train No. 22357)**, will leave Lokmanya Tilak station at 1:15 PM on Friday and arrive in Gaya at 10:50 PM on Saturday.
The train will traverse through major stations including Kodarma, Hazaribagh Town, Ranchi, Rourkela, Bilaspur, and Nagpur, making travel convenient and promoting tourism and business opportunities.
“This new train service will significantly benefit passengers,” stated Sanjeev R Neelam, Director (Coaching) of the Railway Board, highlighting the convenience and economic benefits of the new route.
This development comes on the heels of other positive news for rail travelers in the region. The Vande Bharat Express, a high-speed train, has recently started halting at Bakhtiyarpur Junction, further enhancing connectivity in the area.
