Tue Oct 15 12:05:20 UTC 2024: ## RLM Suffers Setback Ahead of Bihar By-elections: Two Leaders Resign
**Patna, India:** The Rashtriya Lok Manch (RLM) has suffered a setback ahead of the upcoming Bihar assembly by-elections. Two senior party leaders, Ajay Kushwaha, the RLM state vice president, and Parmanand Kushwaha, the state general secretary, have announced their resignation from the party.
The resignations were announced during a press conference in Patna, citing dissatisfaction within the party regarding the upcoming by-elections in four constituencies: Tarari, Ramgarh, Belaganj, and Imamganj.
Ajay Kushwaha specifically pointed to the lack of decision-making regarding the Belaganj constituency, accusing the party leadership of inaction and a breakdown of discipline. Meanwhile, Parmanand Kushwaha cited his intention to contest the upcoming election from the Kurtha assembly constituency as the reason behind his decision.
The resignations come at a time when political activity and maneuvering are intensifying in anticipation of the by-elections. This unexpected loss of two prominent leaders is seen as a significant blow to RLM chief Upendra Kushwaha ahead of the crucial polls.
