**Bengaluru, October 17:** Torrential rains lashing Bengaluru since Tuesday morning have caused widespread flooding, particularly impacting the city’s tech hub, Manyata Tech Park. The 300-acre tech village, home to numerous offices, is completely submerged, leaving techies stranded and facing a difficult commute.
Roads inside the tech park are underwater, and traffic is at a standstill. The heavy downpour, which began at 3 AM, has also led to significant congestion on the Hebbal flyover, with traffic expected to worsen during the evening rush hour.
Social media platforms are buzzing with images and reports of the flooding, with users expressing their frustration over the city’s crumbling infrastructure. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for heavy rain in the coming days, predicting a rainy week ahead.
