**MULTAN:** England captain Ben Stokes is set to return to the field for the second Test against Pakistan, starting Tuesday in Multan. Stokes, who has been sidelined for two months due to a thigh injury, has recovered and will be available for selection.
Stokes’s return comes as veteran pacer Chris Woakes has been rested for the second Test. Young bowler Gus Atkinson will be replaced by Matthew Potts in the England lineup.
Pakistan, meanwhile, is expected to make several changes to their team. The hosts are likely to field four spinners in the second Test, after leaving out star batsman Babar Azam and pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi in the first match.
