Tue Oct 15 12:42:06 UTC 2024: ## Uncapped Kamran Ghulam Replaces Babar Azam in Pakistan’s Second Test Against England

**Multan, Pakistan:** Pakistan has made a significant change to their playing eleven for the second Test match against England, replacing the injured captain Babar Azam with uncapped batsman Kamran Ghulam.

The decision comes after Pakistan suffered a defeat in the first Test in Multan. While Babar’s absence is a blow, Ghulam has a strong domestic record, having scored over 4,000 runs in First-Class cricket and over 3,000 runs in List A matches. He has also made a mark in the T20 format, scoring 1,510 runs in 73 matches.

Ghulam has previously played one ODI for Pakistan, but did not get a chance to bat. He will be looking to make his Test debut in this crucial second Test.

The rest of Pakistan’s playing eleven remains unchanged. They will be hoping that Ghulam can provide a stable presence in the middle order and help them level the series.

**Pakistan’s Playing XI:** Saim Ayub, Abdullah Shafique, Shan Masood (c), Kamran Ghulam, Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Salman Ali Agha, Aamer Jamal, Noman Ali, Sajid Khan, Zahid Mahmood.

The second Test match is scheduled to begin on October 15th in Multan.
