**Patna, India:** The Patna Pirates have announced Shubham Shinde as their captain for the upcoming Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 11. Ankit will serve as the vice-captain. The announcement was made by Patna Pirates CEO Pawan Rana.
Season 11 of the PKL is set to kick off on October 18th in Hyderabad. While the tournament will be held across various venues, Patna fans will unfortunately miss out on home matches this season.
The Patna Pirates will face the defending champions, the Puneri Paltan, on October 21st for their first match of the season. Bihar’s Sandeep Kumar, who played a crucial role in the Pirates’ success during season 10, is also back on the team and will be eager to enthrall his home crowd.
