Tue Oct 15 13:40:32 UTC 2024: ## Minister Lays Foundation Stone for Several Projects in Dumri Ahead of Assembly Polls
**Dumri (Giridih):** Just hours before the announcement of Jharkhand Assembly elections on Tuesday, Minister Baby Devi laid the foundation stone for various development projects in her constituency, including a stadium and several bridges.
The projects, worth an estimated Rs 7 crore, include a bridge over Dhanhara Jamunia river, a stadium in Shawatand, a bridge in Parsabeड़ा Kolhuwa, and road strengthening projects connecting Purani Bariyarpur Chhachhndo to Giridih and Dumri (4km), and Dhavatand to Dokwatand (6km).
Minister Devi’s son, Akhilesh Mahto Raju, was present at the event along with JMM Dumri block president Rajkumar Mahto, the minister’s representative Rajkumar Pandey, and former Mukhiya Subodh Mishra.
Speaking at the event, Akhilesh Mahto Raju said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren is committed to the development of the state and the region.
