Parchure, who was admitted to the hospital five days ago, had been suffering from a liver tumor. His demise has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, with fans and colleagues expressing their grief.
Parchure is survived by his wife, Sonia Parchure, who has been his pillar of strength throughout his illness. Sonia, a trained actress, has acted in Marathi plays and was lauded for her performance in the film “Akka.” She chose to step back from acting to support her husband’s career.
