**Chandigarh:** The Punjab government has announced a holiday on Saturday, October 12th, for the Dussehra festival. This was announced by Punjab’s Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances Minister, Aman Arora. All government service centers will be closed on Saturday.
While the holiday is in effect, people can still access government services by calling the 1076 helpline number. Any work that cannot be completed on Saturday can be done on Sunday.
This announcement comes as part of the state government’s efforts to celebrate Dussehra with its citizens.
