Mon Oct 14 10:02:38 UTC 2024: ## RSS Chief Warns of Conspiracies to Undermine India’s Progress

**Nagpur, October 14, 2024:** RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has issued a stern warning, claiming that various forces are conspiring to undermine India’s economic growth and international standing. Speaking at the annual Vijayadashami procession in Nagpur, Bhagwat stressed the importance of public awareness to counter these alleged conspiracies.

Bhagwat asserted that India has experienced significant growth and earned global respect in the past decade. He attributed this progress to the collective character of the Indian people. However, he cautioned that some entities are opposed to India’s continued rise and are attempting to destabilize the nation through various means.

He accused these forces of spreading misinformation and creating unrest to weaken India. Bhagwat specifically mentioned the recent political turmoil in Bangladesh, claiming that attempts were made to portray India as an enemy. He also alleged that a false image of India being anti-Muslim is being propagated.

While acknowledging India’s progress in technology and education, Bhagwat expressed concern over those who prioritize their own interests over national unity and pride. He criticized the “fake politics” played by certain political parties, accusing them of dividing the nation along religious lines and inciting violence.

Bhagwat highlighted the recent incidents of stone pelting during Ganesh processions and alleged attempts to protect the accused in the West Bengal rape and murder case as examples of this divisive political agenda.

In a separate event, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized India’s unwavering commitment to its national interests. Addressing the Armed Forces during the Ayudha Pooja in Sukhna military station, West Bengal, Singh stated that while India has never initiated any conflict or encroached upon other territories, it will not hesitate to defend its sovereignty and respond decisively to any threats.

Bhagwat’s speech has sparked debate and controversy, with critics accusing him of spreading fear and unfounded allegations. However, the RSS chief’s remarks have raised concerns about the potential for political polarization and the role of nationalistic rhetoric in influencing public discourse.
