**Hyderabad, India -** Indian leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi etched his name in the record books on Saturday, becoming the joint second-fastest Indian to claim 50 T20I wickets. Bishnoi achieved this milestone in his 33rd T20I innings, equalling the record held by Arshdeep Singh. He dismissed Litton Das in his second over of the third T20I against Bangladesh in Hyderabad.

Earlier in the match, Bishnoi bowled a maiden over, dismissing Najmul Hossain Shanto, contributing to Bangladesh’s early struggles.

While Bishnoi achieved a personal milestone, the match was dominated by a record-breaking Indian performance. The Men in Blue smashed a mammoth 297/6 in their 20 overs, setting a new record for the highest T20I team total by a Test-playing nation. This remarkable feat was fueled by Sanju Samson’s maiden T20I century, supported by skipper Suryakumar Yadav’s 75 runs and Hardik Pandya’s 47.

Kuldeep Yadav remains the fastest Indian to reach 50 T20I wickets, accomplishing the feat in just 30 innings. Yuzvendra Chahal holds the fourth spot, having achieved the milestone in 34 innings.
