Sun Oct 13 12:20:00 UTC 2024: ## Bills Running Back James Cook Questionable for Monday Night’s Game Against Jets

**ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.** – The Buffalo Bills will be sweating over the status of star running back James Cook for Monday night’s game against the New York Jets. Cook, who sustained a toe injury in Week 5, is listed as questionable but is planning to play, according to his agency.

While Cook is aiming to return, defensive tackle Ed Oliver will miss his second straight game due to a hamstring injury suffered during practice last week.

Several other players are also battling injuries heading into the crucial matchup. Wide receiver Khalil Shakir (ankle), defensive tackle Austin Johnson (oblique), and nickel cornerback Taron Johnson (forearm) are all listed as questionable and were limited in practice. Taron Johnson has been sidelined since the first drive of Week 1.

On a brighter note, wide receivers Curtis Samuel (toe) and Mack Hollins (shoulder) are expected to be healthy and ready to go for Monday night.

The Bills are looking to avoid their first three-game losing streak since 2018. With a pivotal divisional matchup on the horizon, the health of Cook and other key players will be critical for the Bills’ success.
