**Mumbai, India:** Former Maharashtra Minister and prominent NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead on Saturday night, 12th October, in a shocking incident in Mumbai’s Bandra. Siddique was traveling in his bulletproof Range Rover when he was attacked. Despite the vehicle’s protective features, a bullet pierced the windshield and struck him. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
