**Puebla, Mexico** – Mexico’s National Team, known as “El Tri,” will be back in action at the CONCACAF Nations League in November. But fans won’t have to wait until then to see Javier Aguirre’s squad in action. This weekend, the team will test their skills against Spanish club Valencia CF at the Estadio Cuauhtémoc in Puebla.

The friendly match, scheduled for Saturday, October 12th at 7 p.m. (Arizona and Pacific time), was arranged after an agreement between the Mexican Football Federation and Valencia CF. The Spanish club is looking to connect with its growing fan base in Mexico.

The friendly provides the Mexican National Team with another opportunity to prepare for the 2026 World Cup. The game will be televised on TUDN and ViX, and in Mexico, it will be broadcast on Las Estrellas and Azteca 7.

This match is followed by another friendly against the United States on Tuesday, October 15th at the Estadio Akron in Zapopan, Jalisco.
