Hyderabad: With a 2-0 lead in the three-match T20 series against Bangladesh, the Indian team is set to conclude the series on a high note, according to assistant coach Ryan Ten Doeschate.

Speaking ahead of the final T20 match scheduled for Saturday in Hyderabad, Ten Doeschate expressed the team’s desire to finish the series strongly, emphasizing the shared sentiment among players and fans. “The players and the fans want a great finish to this series, and we are definitely going to give it our best,” he said.

Ten Doeschate also shed light on head coach Gautam Gambhir’s intense approach towards the game. “Gauti is very tough when it comes to the game. He believes every match played for the country is important. It’s no secret that he can be demanding at times. But we are focusing on the current team and how they’re performing.”

Highlighting the importance of developing young players, Ten Doeschate emphasized the need to understand their progress and support their future development. “We have a few new guys in the team. We need to understand them and give them the opportunity to improve their game. This is especially crucial for players like Tilak Varma, Jitesh Sharma, and Harshith Rana,” he said. “The next 18 months are critical for their growth.”
