Maseru, Lesotho – The Lesotho national football team, known as Likuena, has announced a provisional squad for their upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Gabon. The squad features five new additions, bringing fresh talent and potential to the team.
The newcomers are Siyabonga Monyaka Majantja, Mpho Hlephole Lioli, Mphale Mphalaole Lioli, Ts’epo Mokhanya Linare, Leruo Lethunya LDF and Mohlomi Makhetha. They will join veteran Katiso Thamae, who returns to the provisional squad, as well as the promising 19-year-old Paseka Maile. Maile, who recently debuted for the senior team at the COSAFA Cup, continues to split time between the Makoanyane XI and Likuena.
