**Khammam, Telangana:** Telangana is gearing up to celebrate the grand festival of Dussehra on Saturday. This festival, marking the victory of good over evil, is a major celebration in the state, especially in the combined Khammam district.
The festivities are set to be particularly vibrant this year with preparations underway at the famous Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Khammam’s Sthanbhadri and the Jammibanda site, where the traditional ‘paruveta’ (burning of effigies) will take place.
