**Mahbubnagar, October 11:** The festive spirit of Dussehra has gripped Mahbubnagar district as residents prepare to celebrate the victory of good over evil.
Preparations are in full swing for the grand celebrations to be held at Ramlila Maidan and Barambaavi in the district headquarters. Various organizations, including VHP, Arya Samaj, and RSS, are organizing events across the district.
On Saturday, a procession will commence from Arya Samaj, adorned with saffron flags. The procession will include a Devi puja and Sami puja organized by the VHP and Bajrang Dal, departing from Mahankali temple.
The procession will culminate at Barambaavi, where the symbolic burning of Ravana will take place. The event will conclude with the exchange of Sami leaves and greetings among the community.
Local markets are bustling with activity as shoppers stock up for the festivities.
