The England men’s Under-18s team fell to a disappointing 2-0 defeat against Sweden in their opening match of a two-game training camp in Marbella this week.
The Young Lions found themselves trailing by two goals at the half-time interval and were unable to claw their way back into the game, despite a second-half effort from manager Liam Bramley who brought on fresh legs in an attempt to turn the tide.
The team will now look to bounce back on Monday in their second match of the October camp, where they will face either Ukraine or the Netherlands.
Despite the defeat, the Young Lions will be hoping to build on their experience and secure a positive result in their final Marbella encounter.
