**Bhubaneswar, Odisha:** Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi and Leader of the Opposition Naveen Patnaik joined the festivities of Durga Puja in Bhubaneswar on Mahashtami, visiting various puja pandals across the city.

CM Majhi, seeking blessings from the Goddess Durga, toured nine pandals in different areas, including Patnasahi, Sundarpada, Baramunda, and Nayapalli, extending wishes of peace and prosperity for the state.

Similarly, Naveen Patnaik visited several pandals, including Rasulgarh, Badagada, and Sahid Nagar.

While both leaders emphasized the cultural and religious significance of Durga Puja, their simultaneous visits sparked discussions and a touch of political rivalry, as both sought to connect with the public during the festive season.
