**Red Bank, NJ** – Renowned American musician, songwriter, producer, and manager Jack Ponti (Giacomo Pontoriero) passed away on October 7th, 2024. While known for his musical contributions to iconic rock bands like Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper, Nelson, and Skid Row, Ponti’s legacy extended far beyond the music industry. He was deeply loved for his boundless generosity, fierce loyalty, and most importantly, his devotion to his family.

Born in Newark, NJ, Ponti’s love for music blossomed early, leading him to a successful career where he helped shape the sound of some of the most influential rock bands of all time. But his greatest pride resided in his family. He is survived by his wife, Tatyana; his daughter, Neva; his granddaughter, Jordyn; and his sister, Nikki. He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Dorothy Pontoriero, and his beloved dogs.

Beyond his musical achievements, Ponti was known for his warmth, humor, and ability to make everyone feel valued. His generosity extended beyond his family, as he was always ready to offer advice, lend a hand, or simply bring laughter to those around him. His kindness and wisdom will continue to inspire countless lives, long after the music fades.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 10th from 4-7 pm at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 11th at 10 am at St. James Church, 94 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown, NJ.
