Thu Oct 10 19:08:17 UTC 2024: ## Ola Electric’s Electric Scooters Plagued by High Failure Rate, Raising Questions About Management

**Bangalore, India** – Ola Electric, the electric scooter manufacturer led by CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, is facing serious questions about its competency and manufacturing processes after a startling revelation: 75% of the Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) installed in their scooters are failing.

The HMI, essentially the operating system of the scooter, is responsible for the rider’s interaction with the vehicle. Its failure renders the entire scooter inoperable. Sources within the industry, requesting anonymity, have confirmed the high failure rate, calling it “quite high” even for a company known for its “fast and loose” manufacturing practices.

The issue came to light earlier this year when the HMI manufacturer discovered the alarming rate of failures.

The news casts a shadow on Ola Electric’s already troubled production trajectory. The company has been grappling with manufacturing delays and quality control issues, raising concerns about its ability to deliver on its ambitious expansion plans.

This latest revelation fuels accusations of incompetence and potential malice within the company’s management. Questions are now being raised about the quality of the company’s components, the effectiveness of its testing procedures, and the overall commitment to delivering a reliable product to its customers.

Ola Electric has yet to respond to these allegations.
