**New Delhi:** Delhi Metro services were disrupted twice on Wednesday afternoon and evening after two drones were spotted on the tracks.
The first incident occurred on the Blue Line between Uttam Nagar East and Uttam Nagar West stations. Services were halted for over half an hour (from 2:50 PM to 3:29 PM) while personnel removed the drone from the tracks.
The second incident took place near Janakpuri Metro station, an interchange point between the Blue and Magenta lines. While services were suspended for a brief period, the drone was retrieved and found to be a toy-like device.
The DMRC has confirmed that the owner of the drone is being questioned and no suspicious objects have been found so far. The incidents caused significant disruption to passengers, highlighting the potential security concerns posed by drones.
