**New Delhi:** Tensions have escalated once again between the Delhi Chief Minister and the Lieutenant Governor’s offices. The CM’s office has alleged that the Chief Minister’s official residence was forcibly vacated and belongings were removed. The office further accused the LG of attempting to allot the residence to a BJP leader.
The Delhi CM’s office has not received any response from the Lieutenant Governor’s office regarding the allegations. The AAP party has also expressed strong disapproval of the incident, accusing the BJP of resorting to such measures due to their diminishing influence in Delhi. Sanjay Singh, an AAP Rajya Sabha member, criticized the BJP’s actions, claiming they are resorting to such tactics because they lack public support.
The official residence of the Delhi Chief Minister is located on Flagstaff Road. Following the departure of former CM Arvind Kejriwal, the new CM occupied the residence. Recent images showing Public Works Department personnel loading the CM’s belongings onto rickshaws and trucks have gone viral, fueling the accusations against the LG.
