**Gadwal, October 10, 2024:** The Gadwal Police celebrated Vijayadashami, the festival commemorating the victory of good over evil, with a traditional weapon puja at the Armed Forces Office on Thursday.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Srinivas Rao, along with his wife, graced the occasion.
“This is a time to celebrate the victory of good over evil, and the police department works tirelessly to combat evil in society,” the SP said in his address. He further emphasized that the weapon puja is a long-standing tradition within the police force, symbolizing their commitment to upholding justice and protecting the public.
The SP extended his greetings to police personnel and the public for the upcoming Dussehra festival.
The event was also attended by DSP Satyanarayana, Armed Forces DSP Surender Rao, Office AV Satish Kumar, RIs Venkatesh and Harif, CI Nageshwer Reddy, Rural SI Srikanth, and other police personnel.
