**Trichy, Tamil Nadu:** An Air India Express flight (AXB613) bound for Sharjah from Trichy was forced to circle over the region for over an hour after experiencing a technical malfunction with its landing gear. The flight took off from Trichy airport at 5:40 PM on [Date] but soon encountered the issue.

The pilots attempted to land the aircraft back at Trichy but were unable to do so due to the malfunctioning landing gear. To ensure a safe landing and to reduce fuel weight, the aircraft has been circling in the airspace between Trichy and Pudukkottai. The flight has been observed circling over areas like Annavasal, making at least 13 rounds so far.

The aircraft is carrying approximately 141 passengers. A precautionary measure has been taken with over 20 ambulances, medical teams, and 4 fire engines placed on standby at Trichy airport.
