**Dubai, October 11th:** Australia’s women’s cricket team secured a dominant victory over Pakistan in their Group A match of the Women’s T20 World Cup, dismissing their opponents for a meager 82 runs in 19.5 overs.
Off-spinner Ashley Gardner was the star performer for Australia, taking four wickets for just 21 runs. Anabel Sutherland and Georgia Wareham contributed with two wickets each.
The struggling Pakistan side only saw four batters reach double figures, with Aalia Riaz top-scoring with 26 runs. Their innings was characterized by a slow start and consistent loss of wickets throughout.
